If you are UK based, and have 5+ years of senior leadership experience, start by filling in our application form.

You will attend an online onboarding call with other volunteers. We will talk through how the programme works and what’s expected of you in more detail, answering any questions you have.

We’ll match you with three other volunteers with specialisms and experience that complement yours to form a non-executive director-style board with a deep range of expertise and skills.

We’ll match your board with the first of your two businesses, and introduce you to your boards administrator who will support your experience.

In month one, you'll attend your first introductory meeting with the small business leader. It's a chance to get to know them, understand their business and set goals for your time together.

You'll all meet three more times over the next five months, and if you are willing, you may be asked to provide 1:1 mentoring sessions as well.

In month seven your board will switch to support a second business. Your board will all know each other's strengths by then, so you can get started quickly.
